Representatives from the Indian Interfaith Network to End Child Marriage are inviting their counterparts, across all the faiths and in every country, to join the Global Interfaith Weekend to End Child Marriage.

About the weekend

Children are gifts, and we all have a responsibility to nurture and protect them. Faith leaders have a deep influence on how communities support their children.

About child marriage

Child marriage happens in every part of the world, across different cultures and religions.

Discrimination against girls, financial hardship, and lack of access to education and other public services are the main reasons why child marriage still happens today.​​
